Cazmal (MH666v)

Cazmal (MH666v)
Simplex Glyph

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Cazmal is attested here as a man’s name. The glyph shows what appears to be a curving hand that holds a stick or some other kind of device. The hand may provide the phonetic indication for the -ma- part of the name. But the decipherment of this glyph remains elusive.
