Ce Acatl (MH648v)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph and notation for the personal name Ce Acatl is attested here as a man's name. While Ce Acatl can be a year name from the xiuhpohualli (year-count calendar), the more likely source is the tonalpohualli (day-count), which lent its day names and numbers to many children. This particular name, Ce Acatl, had illustrious associations with a Toltec leader and with the divine force of creation, Quetzalcoatl.
