cuechtli (Mdz44r)
This black-line drawing of the element for cuechtli, a long conch shell, has been carved from the compound sign for the place name, Tlalcuechahuayan. It is horizontal, with the curling end on the viewer's left and the five curing hash marks at the bottom.
