This black-line drawing of the element ecatl (air or breath) has been carved from the compound personal name glyph Huitzilecatl (see below). The visual suggests more than air or breath for ecatl, but rather ehecatl (wind) or Ehecatl (the divine force of wind), with its mask featuring a device through which to blow wind around.
