metztli (Osu14v)
This simplex glyph for a month (metztli) comes from the Codex Osuna, folio 14 verso (or Image 31). It is a vertical crescent moon that is open toward the viewer’s right. Inside the crescent is an anthropomorphic face. The moon is painted partially red.
