Temazcalli (MH905v)
Simplex Glyph

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Temazcalli (“Steam Bath”) is attested here as a woman’s name. The glyph shows a frontal view of a building, presumably a steam bath (temazcalli). In front of this building is what may be a bird’s eye view of an atrium, a small enclosure.
