tepetl (Mdz13v)
This element for hill or mountain (tepetl) has been carved from the compound sign for the place name, Iztac Tlalocan. We removed the Tlaloc head from the top of the mountain and then tried to smooth out what was left. The color of this mountain is not the usual two-tone green because the place name includes the word iztac, white, which was fused with the mountain.
