tepetl (Mdz16r)
Element from a Compound

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This element for hill or mountain (tepetl) has been carved from the compound sign for the place name, Izcuintepec. We removed the dog from the side of the mountain, but we did not recreate the curling rocky outcroppings on that slope that would normally be there.
