tepetl (Mdz24v)
Element from a Compound

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This element for hill or mountain (tepetl) has been carved from the compound sign for the place name, Yacapichtlan. The nose on the right-hand slope has been carved away, and so we do not have the curling, rocky outcroppings on that side, which is a distortion.
