Iconography

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This vertical stone with curling ends and alternating, wavy, diagonal stripes is included here as an example of iconography, given that it is not glossed as a tetl (stone). But it has all the hallmarks of the glyph for stone in the Codex Mendoza. We include it here for the purpose of making comparisons.
