This white pre-contact cloth was excavated in the Templo Mayor. Some of its threads come from agave fiber (specifically, maguey) strengthened with feathers. The signage suggests it might be an ihuitilmatli (feather cloak). The cloak still has visible blue areas of fringe and decorative knots.
