Tlaixtoc (MH844r)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Tlaixtoc (perhaps “He Went To Look at Something” or “He Went Before Something”) is attested here as a man’s name. The glyph shows a profile view of a man sitting with his right knee up a bit and his rather thin and short arms extended out in front of him. He wears a loincloth. His ribs are showing. His head is tilted back, looking (-ix-) up at something (tla-) not visible. His body is facing the viewer’s right.

This man’s posture, near nudity, and exposed ribs make his seem vulnerable. Perhaps he is presenting a humbled position before a divine force that is not visible.
