This example of iconography shows a tlapixqui (one who takes care of something) is paired (in the original) with a woman, and together they have the gloss, "ome tlapixque" (two who take care of things). This man is standing, leaning forward slightly. He is wearing a cape that ends above his knees. He is in profile, facing to the viewer's left. His hair is long and hangs down his back. His arms are not visible. He wears sandals.
