This simplex glyph for the personal name Topitl (here, attested as a man’s name) shows a small lizard (topitl) in a bird's eye view. Its head is at the top of the glyph. It has visible toes on its feet, and it has a long tail. It is entirely black.

The larger lizard, cuetzpalin, is a day sign in the calendar. But this smaller version does not seem to relate to the calendar.
