tepetl (Mdz13v)
Element from a Compound

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This element for hill or mountain (tepetl) has been carved from the compound sign for the place name, Tecuantepec (today, Tehuantepec). The tecuani has been removed from the top of the hill, which meant we had to reconstruct the curve at the top.
