Simplex Glyph

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This element for necklace (cozcatl) has been carved from the compound sign for the personal name, Cozacuauhtli. It appears to be a leather thong with three beads. The entire necklace is not visible. From the historical contextual image, one can see that the necklace was presented as though going around the head of an eagle.
