mixtli (MH483r)
Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:
This element for clouds [mixtli has been carved from the compound sign for the personal name, Mixcoatl. This is a black line drawing of a cluster of cloud segments (apparently in the sky), left natural inside the lines. These clouds appear on the left side of a serpent in the original compound, almost like wings of a butterfly. They have scalloped edges.
