Tecuanipan (MH544r)
This is a black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the place name Tecuanipan ("On the Beast" or "On the Jaguar"). It shows a profile view (facing left) of the head of a ferocious animal with sharp, visible teeth and a protruding tongue. This animal has a long curly mane, much like a lion might be drawn with European stylistics.
