Zacapechcatl (MH648v)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Zacapechcatl ("Person from Zacapechco") appears here as a man's name or ethnic identity. The glyph is of grasses with what appear to be two cattails poking up above the blades of grass (hay or straw) called zacate in Spanish (zacatl in Nahuatl). The -pech- could also be covered in part by the zacatl, because a pechtli is a woven mat made from this grassy material. The -catl part to the name is not shown visually.
