Nochhuetl (MH649v)
This red and white painting of the simplex glyph for the personal name Nochhuetl (perhaps "Ideal Bean") is attested here as a man's name. The visual is a fruit (nochtli) of the nopal cactus. This serves as a phonetic indicator. The huetl part of the name is not shown visually.
Stephanie Wood
In another glyph for Nochhuetl the cactus fruit is paired with a huehuetl drum. In another example, the person with the name has wrinkles on his face to suggest huehue (elder). Both of these are apparently just phonetic indicators for the -huetl suffix on the name and do not make a semantic contribution.
