tlapallacuilo (MH811r)
This is a black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for tlapallacuilo, refers to the occupation, "one who writes or paints with colors." This can often refer to red paint, but not exclusively. The glyph here shows a small round pot of paint, seemingly full of paint (a dark color), and a painting instrument sticking out of the pot at an angle to the left.

Most glyphs in this digital collection that represent the similar occupation, tlacuilo, show simply the implement for writing or painting. One has red paint at the tip of what appears to be a brush. See below. Those examples also include one personal name "Tlacuilol," which is short for tlacuilolli and retains the "l" at the end, means something written or painted. It is an implement, too.
