Chochohua (MH705v)
Simplex Glyph

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Chochohua (perhaps “He Has Younger Siblings”) is attested here as a man’s name. The glyph shows a profile view of a man wearing a loincloth. His left leg is raised as though he is in movement. His visible arm is bent somewhat at the elbow and raised in front of his chest.

Added Analysis:

Perhaps this is a depiction of a younger sibling. Men who are shown full bodied and with little clothing tend to be young or vulnerable in some way.
