Hualacic (MH837r)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Hualacic (“Newly Arrived”) is attested here as a man’s name. The glyph shows a ¾ view of two legs facing in the direction of the tribute payer. Rounded hatch lines down one leg gives it a three-dimensionality. The foot on that leg is lifted somewhat, to give it a sense of motion.

Several hualacic glyphs appear in this collection. They variously employ walking figures, footprints, and/or a foot.
