Hualacic (MH837r)

Hualacic (MH837r)
Simplex Glyph

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Hualacic (“Newly Arrived”) is attested here as a man’s name. The glyph shows a ¾ view of two legs facing in the direction of the tribute payer. Rounded hatch lines down one leg gives it a three-dimensionality. The foot on that leg is lifted somewhat, to give it a sense of motion.
