This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Ithual ("Patio") is attested here as a man's name. It shows a frontal view of a building with a large patio (ithualli) or plaza in front of it. The building has the usual entryway framed with large beams. The patio is an empty square. The perspective is a ocmbination of a bird's eye view (of the patio) and an elevation view (of the building).
