Compound Glyph

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This is a black and white drawing of the compound glyph for the noun teichpoch. It consists of a vertical stone (tetl), which provides the phonetic start to the term (te-). The head of a young woman (although she has the adult woman's hairstyle, the neaxtlahualli, or axtlacuilli) is shown in profile above the stone, intending to add the logogram of -ichpoch to the term.
