yolqui (MH608v)
This is a black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the noun, yolqui ("living things"), which doubles as the glyph for Huitztli Yolqui (see below). What we see here are really thorns (huitztli), and it is difficult to tell that they are living things (yolqui). They are black and white sharp points, with the top half being black.
