Chalchiuh (MH488r)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Chalchiuh (“Precious Green Stone,” attested here as a man’s name) shows a large circle with four tiny circles evenly placed around the perimeter. Inside the large circle are two smaller concentric circle. Between the large circle and the next inner circle, the space is segmented.

This glyph represents the precious green stone, also called jade or jadeite. This was not only a name but a term of endearment for babies and children.
