Nellicihuatl (MH742r)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Nellicihuatl (perhaps “True-Woman”) is attested here as the name of a woman. The glyph is simply a woman’s head in profile, facing toward the viewer’s left. Here hair is long and hanging down, not fashioned in the usual hairstyle (neaxtlahualli) associated with cihuatl.
