Coyotl (MH722r)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Coyotl (“Coyote”) shows the head of a coyote in profile, facing toward the viewer’s right. Protruding from the animal’s mouth is the head of a bird or fowl, which it appears to be eating. When compared to other glyphs for coyotl, this is a rare scene.
