Centon (MH812r)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Centon (perhaps “Small Ear of Maize” or “Altogether Small”) is attested here as a man’s name. The glyph shows a small outline of a square, nothing more. Might this be a phonetic indicator for Cen-, from entirely, but here referring to a corn cob with dried kernels (centli, also spelled cintli)?
