atl (Mdz16r)
This element has been carved from the compound sign for the place name, Hueiapan (or Hueyapan, today). This is a large circle (with the size likely feeding the adjective "huei," large). It is symmetrical, with its apportionment of black lines of possible currents and a wavy surface.
