This black-line drawing with a pink watercolor wash has as its focus the element of two bird wings (atlapalli), which have been carved from the personal name Matlapal (see below). The wings appear to be flapping, suggesting action, movement. They are painted pinkish red, perhaps pointing to a specific, unnamed bird such as the roseate spoonbill.
