Cocoliloc (MH727v)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Cocoliloc ("He Was Hated") is attested here as a man’s name. It shows a hand-held, obsidian-blade-studded club right at the throat of a nearly nude man (wearing just a loincloth) in a prone position stomach facing downward. His head is up somewhat, and he looks toward the viewer’s left. The head is shown in profile, facing toward the viewer's right. The threatened person reaches with his left hand and arm toward the club, perhaps to try to block the blow.

This glyph, with a reclining figure, stands out from the rest somewhat. Might his lying on the ground be a homophonic nod to cocoliztli (epidemic disease)?
