"Snail") is attested here as a man's name. It shows a man's head in profile, looking toward the viewer's right. A curving snail's (huilacatl) body comes down from the man's neck and curves up to the right (perhaps representing the verb ilacatzoa ("wraps around"). If this is a phonetic complement, then the glyph is a compound.
