Teachcauhzolli (MH491v)
This black-line drawing of the compound glyph for the personal name Teachcauhzolli (perhaps, "Older Brother in Bad Shape") is attested here as a man's name. The compound consists of two visual elements. One is a horizontal stone (tetl), with its signature curling ends and horizontal stripes of alternating shades. This provides the phonetic start to the name, Te-. The other element is an upright obsidian blade (tecpatl), which does not appear to enter into the name in an obvious way. And, nothing visual points to the final part of the name, -zolli (old). So parts of this glyph require further decipherment.
