This black-line drawing of the element for a rabbit (tochtli) has been carved from the compound place name Tochtepec. The rabbit is shown as a head only, in profile, facing toward the viewer's right. Its ears are pointed and facing backward somewhat. Its one visible eye appears to be open. Its mouth is also slightly open.
