Glyph or Iconographic Image Description: 

This black-line drawing of the element totolin (turkey hen) has been carved from the compound personal name glyph, Tlahuiztotol (see below). It shows the hen's head in profile, facing toward the viewer's right. The bird's eye is open, and its beak is closed. Above its beak is a small, striped snood that curves upward. At its neck there is some definition of feathers.
