Tlahuiztotol (MH525r)
This black-line drawing of the compound glyph for the personal name Tlahuiztotol (“Wild Turkey War Insignia,” attested here as a man’s name) shows a decorated banner (apparently referring to the war insignia, tlahuiztli), and to the right of that, the head of a wild turkey in profile looking toward the viewer's right. Its eye is open; its beak is closed. It has a small protrusion on the top of the beak. The decoration on the top of the flag {panitl) appears to be a feathered device.
