tzompantli (Mdz2r)
Iconography

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This iconographic example of a skull rack (tzompantli) is provided here as a comparison for glyphs that capture the tzompantli. This example could be considered a glyph, but we do not have a gloss, so we are including it here as iconography. It looks much like the glyphs, with the rectangular wooden structure on a dark base and one skull over the horizontal post, in profile, looking toward the viewer's right.
