Xoxopehualoc (MH713v)
Compound Glyph

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This black-line drawing for the compound glyph for the personal name, Xoxopehualoc (perhaps, “He was Kicked”), is attested here as pertaining to a man. It shows a nude man falling backwards as he is being kicked with an unclad leg in profile (facing right). The kicked man has his visible eye closed, which may suggest he was killed.
