Cuexcoch (MH623v)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Cuexcoch ("Nape of the Neck") is attested here as a man's name. The glyph builds on the tribute payer's head. The tlacuilo has placed a circle at the back of the person's head, apparently intending it to bring attention to the nape of the neck (cuexochtli), although the nape would be somewhat lower.
