Itzcotecatl (MH634v)
This black-line drawing of the compound glyph for the personal name or ethnic identity, Itzcotecatl (a person from Itzcotlan), is attested here as pertaining to a man. It shows a vertical row of five obsidian (itztli) points apparently protruding from a piece of wood. This wood is coming out of the top of a ceramic jug (comitl). This latter element could serve as a phonetic indicator.
