Ome Cuauhtli (FCbk4f6v)
This colorful painting of the simplex glyph-plus-notation has as its focus the date Ome Cuauhtli (or "Two Eagle," 2-Eagle). It shows a profile view of an eagle (cuauhtli) head, with pink to red feathers and a yellow beak. Its visible eye is open, as is its beak. To the right of the eagle head and connected to it by a red line, is one horizontal row of two small circles painted red. These circles represent the notation for the number two (ome). This is one of several dates that are grouped in a box (see the contextualizing image, below). Typically, a single date will be boxed.
