Yehuatl (MH833v)

Yehuatl (MH833v)
Simplex Glyph

Glyph or Iconographic Image Description:

This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Yehua is attested here as a man's name. The glyph shows a frontal view of a man's head. It may refer to "yehuatl," that person.

Added Analysis:

The transcription and translation of the gloss still require some work. See several options in the dictionary field. The frontal view is not used with just anyone, so this might be taken into account. Also, this glyph compares very favorably with Tlamaca (see below), which means that "Yehua" (from yehuatl) may make the most sense.
