Chichimeca Yaotequihua (MH695v)
This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name, ethnicity, or title,, Chichimeca Yaotequihua (“Chichimec War Leader”), is shown as the head of a man in profile, looking toward the viewer’s right. Two or three vertical and two horizontal lines intersect on the side of his face. This is probably face paint, perhaps war paint, and a special design that sends a message of the Chichimec ethnicity. Below this human head is what appears to be a spotted serpent with a protruding bifurcated tongue.

Comparing this glyph with others for the same ethnicity or name we see that the presence of a serpent is unusual. It is not even clear what semantic or possibly phonetic role it might play here. Also, another glyph in this group shows a bow and arrow, which are hallmarks for Chichimec ethnicity in some cases.
