Quetzalcuauh (MH622v)
This black-line drawing of the compound glyph for the personal name Quetzalcuauh ("Quetzal Feather-Eagle"), attested here as a man's name, shows the a long quetzal feather on a diagonal. It is wispy, with short lines coming off it on both sides of the full length. To the right of the base of the feather is the head of an eagle (cuauhtli) shown in profile, facing toward the viewer's right. Its eye and beak are open. The feathers on its head are rather spiky.
