Tlacochtemoc (MH713r)
This black-line drawing of the compound Nahuatl hieroglyph for the personal name, Tlacochtemoc ("Javelin Descended”), is attested here as pertaining to a man. The glyph shows what may be a vertical projectile (tlacochtli), but it is just a vertical, narrow, unadorned stick. To the right of this supposed javelin, are three alternating, descending footprints (temo).
