This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Tlazalo (perhaps “One Who Glues Things”) is attested here as a man’s name. The glyph shows a (left) hand holding one piece that is part of a group of seven tesserae (perhaps tlazalolli), probably consisting of small pieces of turquoise that were being stuck onto a mosaic by someone who glues such things.
