Tziuhtlacauhqui (MH537v)
This black-line drawing of the compound glyph for the personal name or occupation Tziuhtlacauhqui (“Marmot Feather Tribute Payer,” attested here as pertaining to a man) shows a frontal view of a hand holding what may be three feathers [presumably from a marmot, tziuhtli). The hand serves the semantic purpose of suggesting that the person holding the feathers is presenting them as tribute.
