This black-line drawing of the simplex glyph for the personal name Yohuallotli (“Night Raptor”) is attested here as a man’s name. The glyph shows a ¾ view of a raptor (tlotli) in flight, facing in the direction of the viewer’s right. Below the bird is a circle painted black for the night (yohualli). The compound may stand for a raptor that is active at night.
